How It All Began

In the vast world of online dating, Will and Erica’s story began with a southern twist. Erica thought she was chatting with Will, but it was his playful friend behind the screen! No, it wasn't some covert spy maneuver, but sure seemed shady to some. Despite this unconventional start, the real Will soon stepped in and swept Erica off her feet. Being a US Army trained military special forces green beret soldier, he literally could have kidnapped her and swept her away! But from the very first day, Will and Erica decided to take a bold step and move in together which was kind of the same thing. Erica definitely was swept away. Their instant connection made it feel like the most natural thing in the world. Will found Erica's calm, kindness and beauty irresistible and she found he was amazing at fixing things and always willing to go on new adventures. Not to mention, he was as exciting as a rollercoaster ride!

Fast forward a year and their adventure to New Hampshire began with a memorable trip to Nantucket, where they went sailing and dreamed of a future together. They wondered, “could we make a life up here?” And after looking at the real estate prices, they knew immediately that the answer was “No.”

The universe did provide a different path north and Will, ever the supportive partner, followed Erica to New Hampshire to pursue her career dreams, researching and fighting cancer. This also started the transformation of Will into the “Preppy Redneck”

In 2021, they bought a classic 150 year old New England farmhouse house on 2 acres of land. It will take a lifetime to turn it into the vision they have in their dreams, but it only took a moment for it to become a warm and welcoming home for their blended family.

Two years after meeting, life took another exciting turn when Will’s four amazing daughters moved in, and Erica embraced her new role as a loving stepmother with open arms.

Starting a life with four girls brought its own set of challenges and joys. There were ups and downs as everyone adjusted to the new way of life, but through it all, Will and Erica’s love and commitment to each other and their family never wavered.

As Will and Erica prepare to say, “I do,” we invite you to join us in celebrating their unique love story. From an online meeting with a southern twist to building a New England life filled with love, laughter, family, and chaos. Their journey is a testament that dreams really do come true and magic happens when two hearts find their perfect match.
